Every detail of Finnie celebrates Glasgow. Her traffic cone horn is a fun reference to the known Duke of Wellington statue outside the Gallery of Modern Art. She is actually named after the Finnieston Crane. She officially appeared there in July 2025.
Look closer to find local inspiration. The stars on her are a nod to the Barrowland Ballroom. Her purple mane reflects Glasgow’s entertainment scene. The silver details are a tribute to the city’s shipbuilding heritage. Her tartan outfit is a celebration of Scottish Tradition.

Finnie cheers every athlete, volunteer and fan with her never-ending claps, dance and energy. Therefore, nicknamed the “Hype Master”.
