A Unicorn with a Glasgow Soul<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Finnie is a unicorn<\/strong>, chosen because it’s Scotland’s national animal, symbolising courage, strength and imagination. She follows Clyde<\/strong>, the giant thistle from the Glasgow 2014 Games, while bringing a fresh personality all her own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every detail of Finnie celebrates Glasgow. Her traffic cone horn is a fun reference to the known Duke of Wellington statue outside the Gallery of Modern Art<\/a>. She is actually named after the Finnieston Crane. She officially appeared there in July 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finnie cheers every athlete, volunteer and fan with her never-ending claps, dance and energy. Therefore, nicknamed the \u201cHype Master\u201d. <\/strong>Whether she’s visiting schools, appearing at community events or greeting visitors around Games venues, her presence brings people together and adds a little magic to Glasgow 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
