With a total population of only 40, not much human-made illumination would impact observing celestial beauty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visitors to Rum can experience something unique in the astronomical world. The isolation and naturally dark skies of the island provide the perfect setting for viewing constellations, meteor showers, and even the Northern Lights if one is lucky.
