The Titanic exhibition in Glasgow promises to be a remarkable voyage into history for the mythic ocean liner, with artefacts salvaged from the wreck and memorable props from James Cameron’s 1997 blockbuster. This is considered to be the largest exhibit of its kind in the UK, but apart from displaying such treasures as the iconic Heart of the Ocean necklace and a cherub from the grand staircase of the doomed ship, there will also be far more insight into life aboard the ship. Inside these enclosures, one could see displays of silverware and chinaware and many other personal artifacts that appropriately create a moving scene of the glory and tragedy of this ship.
This is also to be an exhibition by White Star Heritage, opened in October, promising a wealth of historical insight alongside Glasgow’s unique connection to the Titanic. This will be combined with more interactive elements among these relics, including the VR experiences and recreations in real life, where the visitors would be able to step back in time and really feel the legacy of the Titanic.
